Runner's MOT

What is it?

  • Do you ​struggle with new or persistent pain/discomfort whilst running? 

  • Do you want to improve your running performance, reduce your risk of injury and the sport more?

  • Are you confused by all the information out there on running?

  • If you answered yes to any of the above, then the Runner's MOT is for you!

What does it involve?

A physio explains how to correct a women's running technique on a treadmill
  1. Health and injury consultation - to look at previous/current injuries, your current training schedule, goals or aims you have.

  2. Movement analysis - looking at your control, muscle strength and flexibility to identify any areas of weakness, tightness or potential contributors to injury/discomfort.

  3. Gait analysis on the treadmill - we will assess your running both at steady, tempo speeds and incline, then we may make a few suggestions based on your injury history or performance needs.

  4. Tailored rehab/strengthening plan sent to your email.

  5. Regular email/Whatsapp support to keep you on track

What we expect from you

  1. Please ensure you complete the registration form before the session.

  2. Please make sure your trainers are clean. 

  3. Please bring a list of the current medications you are on.

  4. Please wear your running kit and bring your other running shoes with you.
